Dr. Alison Heusner, a Sarasota native, had such positive experiences with the family dentist during her childhood that she ultimately decided that she, too, wanted to be a dentist. After graduating from Sarasota High School, she pursued her undergraduate education at the University of Florida, earning her Bachelors degree in Nutritional Sciences in 2007. She then attended Nova Southeastern University to complete her doctorate in dental medicine. After graduating from Nova in 2011, she then moved to the Bay Area to be close to her family. She is now happy to be a part of the Meadows Dental family.
Dr. Heusner is a proponent of the importance of comprehensive care. She believes in making the patient part of their own care by providing them with clear and concise information as well as educating them in dental health. She incorporates technology to help better understand each individuals dental needs.
