Originally from Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, Dr. Porter earned her BA from Butler University. She went on to obtain her DMD from the University of Louisville and then completed a general practice residency at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Porter started the Meadows Dental Associates practice in 1984, then expanded to the Laurel Ridge location in 1993.
She is a proud member of the Sarasota and West Coast Florida chapters of the American Dental Association. Due to her superb reputation and valuable experience, Dr. Porter serves as a Board Examiner for the state of Florida. She was recognized for her efforts in the Best Dentists Listing.
